It provides pedestrian alerts and can even automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver’s hard braking. The system works at speeds between 5 and 50 MPH during the daytime. It has limited nighttime and low visibility performance.
Automatic Emergency Braking works with Forward Collision Alert to help you avoid or reduce the severity of a front-end collision with a detected vehicle you’re following. The feature works at speeds from 5 MPH up to highway speeds and uses camera technology to automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver’s hard braking.
Forward Collision Alert can warn you if it detects a potential front-end collision with a vehicle you’re following, so you can take action. It can also provide a tailgating alert if you’re following a vehicle much too closely.
Safety Alert Seat uses left-, right- or both-side driver seat vibration pulses to help you identify the direction of potential crashes. You can also switch to beeping crash avoidance alerts.
Rear Seat Reminder can alert you to look in your rear seat before leaving your vehicle under certain conditions. It is activated by the opening and closing of the rear door just before or during vehicle use.
Rear Park Assist can provide alerts to nearby detected objects behind your vehicle to help you park and avoid collisions when in Reverse at low speeds.
HD Rear Vision Camera shows you a high-resolution digital image of the area directly behind your vehicle when in Reverse to help you park and avoid vehicles and objects. You can also display an overlap of where your vehicle is heading.

Uses a camera to provide a wide and less obstructed view behind the vehicle while you’re driving. You can switch between the camera view and a traditional rearview mirror. You may use the camera wash to keep the image clear without getting out of your vehicle.
Blind Zone Steering Assist can provide a brief, firm turn of the steering wheel to alert you when a potential crash is detected with a moving vehicle in the lane you’re entering.
Available Side Bicyclist Alert alerts you to a detected bicyclist that is approaching a side blind zone. Also, during a brief time after parking, the feature can alert you when a detected bicyclist is approaching so you don’t open your door.
